ABOUT ME
I'm the proud wife to Lance my love, and we have two beautiful little blessings... Jason 2, and Ava 7 weeks. We love boating, swimming, water balloon fights, sprinkler play, watching movies while eating cream cheese pie, dodger games, cuddling, and family breakfasts. I have two more classes until I apply to the nursing program to get my RN. I'm very excited for that, but I'm loving every minute of motherhood for now, just taking it all in. Don't know when I'll pick up school again with breastfeeding, we'll have to wait and see, probably in the fall!

I am going to go get that Calendula Cream today!  My prescriptions are over $100 so if that works for Poets rare breakouts that is great!  I am not cool, I am a big dork.  I am so excited about the launch party too, a little nervous bc I am afraid people won't show but I am always worried like that.  I am so happy we reconnected.  Your are a fantastic mom!

Hi! Thanks for your help and good company at the group last Wednesday! I was wondering if you have any information about tea and breastfeeding? I read in my baby book that herbs can become toxic when passed through breastmilk, but I've heard of people drinking it throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. I love chi tea! Wish I could have some. Oh and what about that vitamin water?


Everything in moderation, even vitamins. The fat soluable vitamins can be toxic if you take too many (mega doses) and the water soluable ones just end up in the toilet if you take too many!!  Caffeine, 5 or less cups of coffee, tea or soda per day should not cause any problems for moms and babies. I will do a bit of research on chi tea specifically and get back to you. I am not a big vitamin person. If you are eating healthfully and a wide variety of foods daily you should be fine; however if your MD prescribes specific vitamins due to difficiency that is a different story.  You are doing a great job and it was nice to meet you and your baby last week.  Kayellen
