Award Winning Books

Click on the box above for more info about buying the best children's books ever!

I also love scrapbooking, cooking, and hanging out with my girlfriends!!

New news - we've moved!!! We're no longer desert rats! We've relocated to the Hemet area, and are loving our new house, which is almost twice the size of our old house! Woo hoo! We've been here for 2 weeks now, and are slowly making our way out of the haze of boxes. Moving sucks! I've met some great moms down here in the past week, which has been great.

Never again...this shop's closed!!

Lots of new goings-on around here - the girls are 3 days shy of 7 months now, so about 5.5 months adjusted age.

Makayla weighs right about 15 lbs, is sitting up, and tries to crawl - gets herself onto her hands and knees and rocks forwards and backwards, but only ends up propelling herself backwards so far. She's still on the apnea monitor, which still goes off about once a week. She's also still on 2 meds for reflux. She's on solid foods now - oatmeal, veggies and fruit. She acts like I've been starving her all these months by waiting so long to give her solids!!!

Mackenzie weighs close to 11 lbs now - finally out of newborn clothes!! Woo hoo!! She's still getting a full serving of Nutramigen hypoallergenic formula added to her breastmilk, at 40 cal/oz, to help her gain weight. She hasn't started solids yet; doc wants to wait til after her first surgery, which will be in August or September. She can roll both directions and tries to do the army crawl, but isn't getting up on hands/knees yet, nor is she sitting yet.

Oh my gosh! Her lip repair is coming up! That's awesome! I know how it is!! Believe me, stock up on Tylenol and Motrin. They told me to alternate them for the first two days, even if she didn't have any sign of pain. They said if you keep it under control, she'd have no pain, but if I waited until she was in pain, it would be harder. Arm guards are fun! You'll LOVE those! And syringe feedings... LORD! They catch on but you can't get them in fast enough! If you have an post-op questions, let me know! I will try to help you out! It was definately not as bad as I thought. I was all worked up for a screaming baby for 10 days.... and it honestly was much better than I expected!

Glad to hear genetic testing went well. At least what they checked for was not there. I am sure they checked for all of the worst stuff first.... Is she growing better? Jenna didn't chunk up until after her lip repair. They eat so little with the special feeders. She was so tiny in the waist!

Keep me posted. I have been thinking of her!

Did you get the Mead Johnsons?

yes, i did, a while back - thank you so much - it has been so much easier not having to wash bottles quite so often!!! thank you so much!!!

I am glad! GLad they are helping you!
