Okay, I've lived here in the desert for 4 years, and have never met so many cool moms until I found this site. I always wondered how to find a playgroup or where to meet other moms that I could actually hang out with.
While being a hermit in my own home, hibernating from the summer heat, I managed to make friends through It's a Mom Thing. These are women I otherwise never would have met or may have casually met through mutual friends, but didn't know they were so fun!
This desert is very small, and once you meet one mom, you find out they know someone you know... this site is bringing us all together. Thank you to "The Girls" for being so brilliant and ambitous to create It's a Mom Thing!
