Apparently there is some controversy over babies (strollers to be more exact) in bars... I thought it interesting perhaps you will too.

Haha!  That is funny!  That makes me think of the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" when she sees an old friend with the baby and says, "You have a baby...in a bar!"  I have brought my baby to a restaurant bar with me, but never to an establishment that will not admit people under 21.  And I only go for food, I don't belly up to the bar and get schnockerd with baby in tow!  I completely understand the frustrations of bar-goers...they go to get away from all that!  Its a little tacky, and irresponsible on the mother's part.  This will probably spark a new trend--a designated mommy and me bar!

Wow! I hate to break it to these moms, but unfortunately they have to realize their lives are different!! What happens when their babies get older..... 4,5,6,7,8??? They can't take their kids into these bars. These establishments are for people 21 years and older. A bar is for adults to get away from reality and enjoy themselves. If I were going out to have a few drinks I wouldn't want a baby crying in my ear or trying to maneuver around a stroller. Come on now, its time to face reality and admit you can't do everything you used to be able to do!!!

Why is the "no one under 21" rule not being enforced?  That seems obvious.  Have a drink on your patio or go to a restaraunt that serves your cocktail of choice.  Or do a girls night/afternoon thing.

I hate when I see babies in the bar!  I understand taking them to a bar/restaurant at decent hours but after they bar/restaurant turns into more of a "bar"  it is time for the kidddies to leave!

I think that is insane. If you want to drink with your baby, go to Applebee's. I'm uncomfortable being pregnant in a bar.
When I was a kid, my grandpa owned a bar. If we wanted chips or a soda, we could stick our head in the side door, but we couldn't set one foot inside.
