BABY/KID NEWS TO SHARE
Makena is now 15 months and is really starting to pick up on everything I do and say. I have to watch it! She mimics everything, it is so cute and constantly makes me laugh. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely some challenging times as well, but overall this age has been one of my favorites.

MY CHILD'S WISH LIST
Baby dolls! We can't leave a store without buying a new baby. She has too many now, so I must stop buying them, however some of them have had their arms ripped off by my two older kids (the 4 legged ones!)

oh, thank you so much.  We just got home and we are both sooooo tired.  He seems to be doing better and I really am so grateful to have such great friends that called me and sent such kind words.  I feel like a zombie...but still have to check out my It's a mom Thing!  Such an addiction!  I need an intervention.  But he is okay.......sleeping now!

HAHA! You're exactly right about the due date deal!  I left work 5 weeks before mine since I needed time to actually concentrate on getting ready for his arrival (finally!). Everyone I knew who was pregnant was having them 2, 3, 4 weeks BEFORE their dates (with full term-size babies!), and since I was constantly told he measured big for his gestation age, I figured I was lucky if I managed to get three!  Now here I am at week five - OY!!

15 months...oh how fun!  I can't wait for ours to be that age...it's the newborn phase that frightens me!!

Hahaha, so true, so true.  10 days...wow... I could imagine how frustrating that was!  I, however, am THANKFUL he's taking his time!  I've slowed down specifically so not to encourage labor!  I feel good and am still mobile, luckily
I hope I don't have to be induced but we will see...my concern is his size (his head, length and leg bone indicated a due date of 9/29-10/1... OUCH!!)

He is getting to be such a big boy and yes he looks just like Daddy!  I was thinking about dressing him up in all black with an apron.  Jake's Bartender for Halloween.  If I could make a little faux hawk on him it would be hilarious!!  I hope to meet you soon.
