I am probably the proudest parent alive tonight.  My son came home from school today and told us that he has been elected to the Student Council.  He is in the 4th grade and got the most votes.  I am bursting with pride.  You have to know my son to understand how perfect this is for him.  He is such a "rule guy."  He wants to be a judge one day and he is so serious and driven.  I just love that little guy.  I asked him what his first order of business would be as a member of the council... My little one is 16 months and is realizing more things to do to get my attention. I spend all day with her and do things one on one with her several hours out of day. But she is getting more attached to me and wants to be held or by my side 24/7. She's uninterested in her toys unless I sit and play with her. Multitasking is the middle name for all moms! It seems as parents we are never doing just one thing but working to accomplish many things at once..........caring for the family, some - the workforce, housework, friends, etc. Suddenly, days, weeks, months fly by!!!! It's so rewarding being parents.
